Abstract

The article addresses the main aspects of modern discourse on social education and peculiarities of its organization. The issues of institutionalization, instrumental realization and cultural context of existing educational paradigms are considered. A concept of social education is shown in its narrow sense - as a training program for social professions - and in its broad sense - as a base to form socially competent professional, who is capable to contribute into the civil society and social justice.
