Social Policy, Welfare State and Social Management: Issues of Analysis

Abstract

The article is about the issues of research of social policy, social development and social management. The author discusses the concepts of welfare state and contemporary features of national social policy: targeted social assistance, development of the system of social services, strategy of human resources activisation, rise of civic initiative. The tasks of social management are shown in relation to the establishment of the new organizations and new type of professional activity. The main forms of social policy analysis are considered.
