Abstract

The research focuses on some of the new and distinctive patterns of new social history - history of social work of Imperial Russia at the beginning of the 20th c. with special reference to research of elaborating of social care system for soldiers families in Russian Empire. Based on comprehensive search in provincial archives and regional press, the article deals with everyday life of women in soldiers families, as well as influence of «military factor» on formation of their social psychology and active modus of behaviour. The author traces the evolution of the influence of women on social care system and asses the role it played in First War period.
