Further vocational training of people with disabilities as a factor of their positioning in the society (based on the example of Republic of Tatarstan)

Abstract

Change of ideological ways influence on transformation of a strategy of positioning of subjects in social structure. In these conditions the additional vocational training be comes the important channel of social mobility of individuals. Additional vocational training turns to the solid capital, and favourable strategy to invest. Meanwhile, for some social categories, such as people with disabilities, in conditions of their development of their experience as social outsiders purchase of additional vocational training becomes objective necessity. The material of the article is based on the data of the complex socio logical researches – expert interviews, indepth interviews with young people with dis ability. Results of researches show the fact: additional vocational training in Republic Tatarstan has not institualized as the social lift for people with the limited opportunities. It is promoted by a number of objective conditions and subjective factors. Absence of the adapted workplaces for people with disabilities and an uncooperative altitude of employ ers to this category of the population a principal cause of professional disorder of people with the limited opportunities. Paternalists character of their professional expectations has a underside: it in many respects is caused by stereotypification and stigmatization, dominating in estimations and perception a society of people of this social category.
