Abstract

The article considers peculiarities of transformation of socialist system of social policy towards the family. Socialistic type of welfare state is eroded and the discourse of the sate concerning the politics of social promotion, labor market and family support is subjected to dynamic transformations. The authors employ feminist approaches to the analysis of social policy in post-socialist states. A comparative analysis attempt is made in socialist/post-socialist and \Vestern capitalist countries.
