Directions and Problems of the Development of Social Education in Contemporary Russia

Abstract

The article considers a notion of social education as an imperative of social life, the main principles and values of social education are identified. Social education is described as a relatively autonomous area of education. The authors argue the necessity of improving quality of social education and consider the main directions of developing education in field of social work.
