International analysis of institutionalization of education in psychosocial work

Abstract

Two criteria, including social work detachment from healthcare and education toward independent area and internal multispecialisation of social work are referred to as models of helping specialists training. The social worker’s reflexivity is identified as the key link between training and professional development. The description of various models of social work training is based upon its contribution on social workers’ professional activity. The comparative analysis is focused on modern history of social work development in Russia and abroad.
