Property relations in post socialist societies

  • Крис Ханн

Abstract

The article analyses the astonishing symbiosis of stability and uncertainty that seems to be the key feature of the postsocialist agriculture. The author studies property relations instead of property rights, explaining such an analytical approach by the observable differentiation of postsocialist decollectivization results determined by the fact that in every single country ‘standard’ liberal property models ran across and were significantly transformed by the established elements of social identification and ‘communal’ life*style in rural areas.
