Factors of Confidence of theWorkers in a Labour Market of the Reforming Russia
Abstract
The article is based on RLMS data of monitoring of the 1994–2004 and on the research data of the Institute of sociology of the Russian Academy of Science. The analysis reveals the dynamic of social-demographic and social-culture factors, which impact on the confidence of the Russian workers in the labour)market during the period of reforms. Interpretation of a phenomenon of confidence in a labour-market is developed in social)cultural perspective: traditions and innovations in behaviour of workers are considered. The author claims that gender, age, individual practices, and workers’ behaviour strategies are the most important factors for workers confidence in employment.
