Social Policy: The Main Concepts

Abstract

The article explores the main concepts and theoretical bases of social policy from sociological point of view. Social policy should combine a priority of negotiation of the interests of all societal sectors for social development, from the one hand, with a priority of the development of a human being, from another. The author argues that population and social groups should be equal partners of the state in the making of social policy.
